Emma is a theatre director and filmmaker. Emma has directed all Pins and Needles’ shows to date including Flies (Tobacco Factory); Holly and Ivan’s Christmas Adventure (Lyric Hammersmith); The Elves and the Shoemakers (Tobacco Factory); Gizmo Love (Tobacco Factory); and Ernest and the Pale Moon (UK tour).
Current projects include Twelfth Night for the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and Treasure Island for the egg, Theatre Royal Bath. Other recent directing credits include The Grapes Of Wrath and Riot by Ursula Rani Sarma for Theatre Royal Bath’s youth theatre, The Unremarkable by Adam Peck at the Ustinov Studio, and Pavement by Sharon clark for Theatre West.
In 2011 Emma was invited to take part in the National Theatre Studio’s Director’s course. Workshops included sessions by Sir Richard Eyre, Melly Still, Katie Mitchell and Tom Morris.
Emma is an Associate Director of Les Enfants Terribles Theatre Company.
